For me, life’s greatest joys are simple: my family, good company, and the perfect cup of trail fuel.

So, how does a mom in Washington end up creating a coffee brand for adventurers, explorers, and those who seek the outdoors?

It starts with family. My husband runs our sister company, Lone Bear Tactical, and for years, we’ve been deeply involved in the community of outdoor enthusiasts, local explorers, and prepared families. Through his work, I saw a common, undeniable truth: the day's hike doesn't start and the expedition doesn't begin without a reliable cup of coffee. Lone Bear Coffee is the essential fuel for that outdoor spirit—my way of providing the quality that powers your journey.

The Michigan Connection: The Pursuit of Premium Quality

That passion for quality is what led me to the second part of our story: the Michigan connection.

Some of my best memories are from summers spent exploring the stunning Les Cheneaux Islands in Michigan—a place of deep woods, protected channels, and endless exploration. I get to share that same magic with my husband and our daughter, seeing it all again through her eyes.
